The BBS aims to promote the physical characterisation
and understanding of biomolecular functions.
To this end the Society organises and sponsors a range of
meetings and lectures and is particularly interested in
holding joint meetings with other societies.
1st Portuguese-Spanish-British Joint Biophysics Congress 2008
The Portuguese Biophysical Society is to host in Lisbon the 1st Portuguese-Spanish-British Joint Biophysics Congress. This congress is jointly organized by the Biophysical Societies from Portugal, Spain and United Kingdom.
The Joint Biophysics Congress website has details of the Programme of the meeting and the Sessions, and has on-line forms for Registration and for Submission of Abstracts.
Dates and Deadlines for the Congress
10-13th July 2008 (Thursday evening to Sunday morning).
Registration will take place on Thursday, followed by a plenary lecture, with Friday and Saturday as
two full days and Sunday morning.
The deadline for abstract submission is June, 8th, 2008.
The deadline for cheaper registration is June, 25th, 2008
