The BBS aims to promote the physical characterisation
and understanding of biomolecular functions.
To this end the Society organises and sponsors a range of
meetings and lectures and is particularly interested in
holding joint meetings with other societies.
The 2009 AGM of the BBS will take place at the EBSA Congress in Genoa,
time and place to be announced.
The BBS Young Invesigators Award and Lecture 2008 were presented at the Bio-nanotechnologies Meeting at Durham University in March 2009
The Les Houches Session on Physics of DNA assembly aims at establishing a snapshot of the state-of-the art in the field. We want to capture the diversity of the topic, with its different facets ranging from chemistry, experimental and theoretical physics to computer science.
